Abstract

The Ratu Adil movement is an identity-based social movement that has a fairly systematic movement segmentation, because the various movement maneuvers that they carry out are always based on various visions and goals that are highly respected by its members. The development ratu adil and messianism conceptions then becomes an interesting topic to be examined further, especially in the socio-political context of Indonesia. This article written to explain the spectrum of developments in the configuration and contextualization of the Ratu Adil movement in Indonesia. The article uses a qualitative approach and collects literature review data. Through a literature study it was found that the configuration of the ratu adil movement in Indonesia is divided into various time segments, struggle, and collective platform.. In the contemporary context, the emergence of the savior-complex syndrome in Indonesian political practices also reflects the reconfiguration of the ratu adil movement.
