Articles Withdrawal Policy

Jurnal Riset Veteriner Indonesia is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and transparency throughout the publication process. In line with these principles, the journal has established the following policy regarding article withdrawal.

1. Withdrawal Request Procedure

Authors may request the withdrawal of their manuscript at any stage of the review process or prior to publication. To formally withdraw an article, the corresponding author must submit a written request to the editorial team via email at [insert contact email]. The request should include the following details:

  • Title of the article

  • Names of all contributing authors

  • Manuscript ID (if applicable)

  • A clear explanation of the reason for withdrawal

2. Withdrawal After Acceptance

In the event that an article has been accepted for publication, requests for withdrawal will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If the withdrawal occurs after acceptance but before the article has been published, the authors may be required to provide a valid justification for their decision.

3. Withdrawal After Publication

Once an article has been published online, withdrawal is generally not permitted, except under exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Instances of duplicate publication

  • Detection of plagiarism or data fabrication

  • Breach of ethical standards

In such cases, the article will be formally retracted, and a retraction notice will be issued, stating the reasons for the withdrawal.

4. Consequences of Article Withdrawal

Authors who submit a withdrawal request after submission or acceptance may face consequences, including but not limited to restrictions on future submissions to Jurnal Riset Veteriner Indonesia. The editorial board will determine the appropriate actions based on the specifics of each case.

5. Ethical Considerations

Jurnal Riset Veteriner Indonesia upholds rigorous ethical standards in the publication process. We request that authors carefully consider their decision before requesting withdrawal, as unnecessary withdrawals can disrupt the editorial workflow and impact the publication schedule.
