About the Journal
The Indonesian Journal of Health Administration and Policy (JAKKI) is a scientific journal published by the Department of Health Administration and Policy, Faculty of Public Health, Hasanuddin University since 2012. This journal has the serial number ISSN 2301-8933 and serves as a medium for scientific publication to disseminate the results of thinking and research in the field of health administration and policy.
JAKKI focuses on the development of analysis and dissemination of scientific knowledge that contributes to improving the performance of health systems, the governance of health service organizations, as well as the discussion, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based health policies. This journal serves as a platform for historians, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to examine strategic issues in health administration and policy at the local, national, and global levels.
The scope of JAKKI covers health policy studies, including policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation; health management, which discusses health organization governance, health human resource management, quality management, and patient safety; health politics, which examines the relationships between actors, interests, and political processes in the health system; health economics, which covers health financing, cost and benefit analysis, efficiency and effectiveness of health programs, including health insurance and coverage; health planning, which discusses health situation analysis, planning strategies, and the development of health programs and systems; and leadership in the health sector, which covers organizational leadership, strategic decision-making, and change management in the health system.
JAKKI accepts manuscripts in the form of conceptual papers, research articles, original research reports, and systematic literature reviews relevant to the journal's focus and scope. Published manuscripts are expected to contribute theoretically and practically to the development of health administration and policy science and to support evidence-based health policy-making.
