Abstract

The political dynamics in Indonesia always find many challenges. This also happens in the country's efforts to organize general elections, which currently have various problems, one of which is marked by the emergence of empty boxes. The emergence of this phenomenon is a sign of a decline in the quality of Indonesian democracy. Therefore, a mechanism is needed that can solve these problems. Through doctrinal research supported by literature studies, this article will describe the facts and data related to the emergence of empty boxes and explore the most effective solutions. Through the descriptive-analytical method, the discussion of this article will explain the application of the Popular Initiative scheme supported by comparative studies from other countries to see its potential effectiveness if applied in Indonesia to realize Electoral Pancasila Justice.
