Abstract: This article explores the striking parallels between Suzanne Collins's dystopian narrative The Hunger Games and the ongoing conflict in Gaza. By analyzing seven thematic sub-sections, the study examines mechanisms of control, the use of hunger as a weapon, the impact of conflict on children, symbols of resistance, media manipulation, forms of rebellion, and the role of fiction as a mirror to reality. The findings reveal that elements within the fictional narrative reflect the actual conditions in Gaza, including economic blockades, stringent surveillance, and the deployment of propaganda. Symbols such as the Mockingjay and the keffiyeh serve as representations of resistance, while social media emerges as a crucial tool for disseminating alternative narratives. By linking fiction and reality, this article underscores the importance of understanding modern conflicts through the lens of popular culture to foster awareness and social action.
