Disrupsi Sistem Sosial-Ekologis: Dampak Kebijakan Larangan Pembakaran Lahan Terhadap Komunitas Petani di Kecamatan Mantangai, Kalimantan Tengah

Abstrak

Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak kebijakan larangan pembakaran lahan terhadap sistem sosial-ekologis masyarakat di Kecamatan Mantangai, Kalimantan Tengah, dengan fokus pada sistem pertanian tradisional dan implikasinya terhadap ketahanan pangan, struktur sosial, dan keberlanjutan ekologis. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian melibatkan 27 informan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian mengungkap tiga transformasi utama: (1) perubahan relasi manusia-lingkungan dari sistem terintegrasi menjadi terpisah, (2) pergeseran struktur sosial-ekonomi dari kolektif ke individual, dan (3) krisis ketahanan pangan akibat hilangnya akses pada sistem pertanian tradisional. Melalui perspektif Environmental Sociology dan Environmental Justice, penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana kebijakan berbasis Human Exemptionalism Paradigm mengabaikan kompleksitas relasi sosial-ekologis masyarakat yang justru mencerminkan New Environmental Paradigm. Program modernisasi seperti food estate gagal karena mengabaikan pengetahuan lokal, sementara kriminalisasi praktik tradisional menciptakan ketidakadilan lingkungan yang sistemik. Penelitian merekomendasikan reformulasi kebijakan yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dan keadilan lingkungan untuk memperkuat ketahanan sosial-ekologis masyarakat.
