Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dilihat dari tingkat pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap terhadap kinerja Pustakawan Universitas Hasanuddin, (2) mengetahui faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja Pustakawan Universitas Hasanuddin Makassar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPT Perpustakaan Univesitas Hasanuddin Makassar, sampelnya sebesar 56 responden dengan menggunakan metode sampel jenuh atau sensus. Untuk menjawab permasalah yang ada maka digunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif yakni analisis deskriptif dan analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dugaan hipotesis Ho ditolak H1 diterima yaitu bahwa kualitas layanan yang terdiri pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap, secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja pustakawan Universitas Hasanuddin. Sedangkan secara parsial atau sendiri-sendiri hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa setiap variabel X (pengetahuan, keterampilan dansikap) berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap variabel Y (kinerjapegawai). Akan tetapi ada satu variable lpengetahuan (X1) adalah paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pustakawan dengan melalui pengujian hipotesis secara parsial, dimana t hitung lebih besar dari t table yaitu sebesar t hitung9.954 > t table sebesar 1,684. This research was conducted at the University of Hasanuddin Makassar Library Unit , the sample of 56 respondents using saturated sample or census method . To answer the problem as it exists then used quantitative methods approach the descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis . The research proves that the hypothesis Ho is rejected allegations that H1 is accepted that the quality of service that consists of knowledge , skills , and attitudes , together or simultaneously positive significant effect on the performance of Hasanuddin University librarian . While partially or individually research results also indicate that each variable X ( knowledge , skills and attitudes ) a positive significant effect on the variable Y ( employee performance ) But there is one knowledge variable ( X1 ) is the most dominant influence on the performance of employees with partially through hypothesis testing , where t is greater than t table that is equal to 9,954 t count > t table is 1.684 .
