Abstract
The transfer of agricultural land functions resulted in reduced vegetable production areas, as evidenced by data from the Central Statistics Agency which states that the area of agricultural land in Indonesia was 8,164,045 Ha in 2017 decreased to 7,105,145 Ha in 2018. Therefore, agricultural innovations with the system were developed. hydroponic the weakness of the hydroponic system is controlling nutrients, light intensity, and pH are not controlled properly this is very influential in the process of growing vegetables cultivated by farmers, therefore Smart Hydroponic is the right technology to be implemented in a hydroponic system because this tool is automatic and can control several types of crops (lettuce, pakcoy and chicory). The Fuzzy Logic control system implemented in Smart Hydroponic is accurate in controlling the nutritional needs, light intensity and pH of plants (lettuce, pakcoy and chicory) during their growth period. The accuracy of this control system can be seen through the control rules that are created and simulated through matlab software with input errors and delta errors. error is the difference between the setting point with nutrients, light intensity and pH while the delta error is the difference between nutrients, light intensity and current pH with nutrients, light intensity and previous pH, then these two inputs are given a knowledge base to adjust the output, namely Pulse-width modulation with value range 0-225. PMW regulation means that the provision of light intensity, nutrient solution and controlled pH solution is not overshoot or in accordance with plants. In addition, Smart Hydroponic is also equipped with the Internet of Things so that monitoring of the hydroponic system can be done in real time via a smartphone.
