THE EFFECT OF GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE IMPLEMENTATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH WORK MOTIVATION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE

Abstract

Abstract  This study aims to analyze good corporate governance that has an indirect influence on employee performance through work motivation at Perumda Water Supply Makassar City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is primary data. A sample of 99 respondents. The respondent is an employee of Perumda Water Drinking Makassar City. Data collection was carried out through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and path analysis using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) version 26. The results of the study show that good corporate governance has an indirect influence on employee performance through work motivation at the Makassar City Water Supply Perumda. This shows that when high good corporate governance is followed by high work motivation, employee performance will increase and vice versa.
