Netiket Berbasis Nilai Lokal Malaqbiq: Strategi Mencegah Hoaks dan Memperkuat Etika Komunikasi Digital

Artikel ini bertujuan bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi netiket berbasis nilai lokal malaqbiq, sebuah landasan filosofis dan kearifan lokal masyarakat Mandar sebagai langkah strategis pencegahan hoaks dan penguatan etika melalui integrasi nilai-nilai tradisional dalam membangun kesadaran etika komunikasi di ruang digital. Dengan menggunakan tinjauan literatur tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis studi-studi yang telah ada mengenai netiket, etika digital, dan kearifan lokal yang berfokus pada nilai lokal Malaqbiq Masyarakat Mandar. Tulisan ini mengindentifikasi tiga nilai utama dalam Malaqbiq yaitu: (1) Malabbiq Pau yang menekankan kehati-hatian dalam berbicara (memerikasa informasi sebelum disebarkan), (2) Malaqbiq Kedzo yang menekankan pada pengebdalian perilaku (menghindari penyebaran hoaks yang merugikan), dan (3) Malaqbiq Gau yang menekankan pada tanggung jawab jawab dalam interaksi sosial (verifikasi dan memastikan kebenaran informasi). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai lokal Malaqbiq dalam etika komunikasi digital berpotensi berkontribusi pada upaya pencegahan penyebaran hoaks dan menjaga keharmonisan komunikasi diruang digital melalui kerangka netiket yang menggabungkan warisan budaya dengan praktik digital modern.
