Articles that do not meet these criteria can be rejected at this stage. Articles that pass at this stage will be sent to two reviewers.

Peer Review Type. HJBS implements a blind-peer review system, reviewers know the identity of authors, but authors don't know the identity of reviewers.

Plotting Reviewer. The appointment of reviewers is based on the results of the editorial session by taking into account the suitability of the field of specialization and the availability of time for reviewers.

Reviewers’ Report/Decision(s). Reviewers are assigned to provide feedback/reviews on articles by considering originality, structure, and flow of writing, code of ethics for scientific writing, ownership of clear results and support for what is concluded, and reference to related previous research. Grammar correction is not part of this process, but reviewers are not prohibited from correcting grammar.

Length of Review Process. The length of the review process depends on the response given by each reviewer. HJBS implements a policy of providing a total of two (2) weeks to reviewers from the time of their assignment. Reviewer's duties may be diverted if they do not respond within one to two weeks. Reviewers can provide recommendations in the form of "Article accepted", "Minor revision", "Major revision", or "Article rejected". If there is a revision, the author will get a notification to make a revision, which will be sent along with the reviewer's comments via email and in the journal system. The revised results will be reviewed again to ensure that the reviewers' notes have been properly implemented.
