Abstract

Kepemimpinan strategik seringkali dikaitkan dengan visi organisasi dimana mencerminkan ide dan tindakan yang menjadikan organisasi tersebut memiliki keunikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kapabilitas kepemimpinan strategik terhadap kinerja perguruan tinggi. Metodologi penelitian ini, teknik stratified random samplingdigunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 210 karyawan dari perguruan tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kapabilitas kepemimpinan stratejik dan kinerja perguruan tinggi. Pentingnya studi ini dilakukan yaitu menunjukkan bahwa kapabiltas kepemimpinan stratejik akan memberikan alternatif bagi organisasi yang berdampak pada kinerja perguruan tinggi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah, perguruan tinggi perlu memiliki kapabilitas kepemimpinan strategik yang menekankan kepada integritas dan transparansi pada sumberdaya yang ada di dalam organisasi. Kapabilitas kepemimpinan strategik memerlukan perencanaan startegik yang jelas untuk keberhasilan implementasi strategi dalam waktu tertentu. Untuk menghadapi perubahan, memerlukan sikap visioner dari seorang pemimpin untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi.
