PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH TERNAK SAPI MENJADI BIORETENSI DAN BIOURIN BERBASIS CARBONTECH PADA KELOMPOK TANI TERNAK PADAIDI DI KABUPATEN SIDRAP

Permasalahan prioritas yang dihadapi oleh Kelompok tani ternak Padaidi adalah pengolahan limbah ternak dan sanitasi kandang sapi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengolah limbah ternak sapi menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah adalah pengolahan limbah ternak melalui implementasi teknologi carbontech dan fermentasi urin serta pengelolaan kandang untuk meningkatkan sanitasi. Selain itu juga dilakukan transfer teknologi terkait teknik pengemasan dan cara membangun jejaring pemasaran produk untuk mendapatkan informasi dan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan kerja dan kompetensi mitra agar mampu mengadopsi teknologi yang ditawarkan. Metode yang dilakukan terdiri dari penyuluhan, pelatihan dan implementasi redisain lantai kandang, perancangan alat karbonisasi, dan perakitan instalasi fermentasi biourin. Analisis kimia dilakukan pada sampel produk biochar dan biourin. Selain itu juga dilakukan pelatihan pengemasan produk biochar dan biourin. Produk yang dihasilkan pada kegiatan ini adalah biochar sebagai bioretensi dari feses sapi dengan persentase fraksi kelembaban 8.78%, kadar abu 39.89%, zat volatil 27.61%, dan karbon tetap 23,72%. Produk lain yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pupuk cair berupa biourin dari urin sapi.

ABSTRACT
The main problems faced by the Padaidi cattle farmer group are the processing of livestock waste and the sanitation of the cow drum. The purpose of this activity is to process cattle waste into products that have economic value. The solutions offered are livestock waste treatment through the implementation of carbontech technology and urine fermentation as well as cage management to improve sanitation. In addition, technology transfers related to packaging techniques and how to build product marketing networks are also carried out to obtain information and improve the knowledge, work skills and competencies of partners so that they are able to adopt the technology offered. The method used consisted of counseling, training and implementation of cage floor redesign, design of carbonization equipment, and assembly of biourin fermentation installations. Chemical analysis was carried out on samples of biochar and biourin products. In addition, training on packaging of biochar and biourin products was also conducted. The product produced in this activity is biochar as bioretention from cow feces with a percentage of moisture fraction 8.78%, ash content 39.89%, volatile substances 27.61%, and fixed carbon 23.72%. Other products produced in this community service activity are liquid fertilizer in the form of biourin and cow urine.
