Focus and Scope

Jurnal Ilmu Budaya publishes articles , reviews, critiques, and problems of language, linguistic, cultural and intellectual development with an interdisciplinary approach from across the humanities and social sciences. Jurnal Ilmu Budaya welcomes empirically-rich, politically-engaged research that critically addresses: language, linguistics, cultural studies and media, power structures, formations of opposition, activism, and intervention; media / technology history, politics, and philosophy; feminist, gender, and sexuality studies; globalization theories and practices; history and long-term studies. JIB accepts articles, research results, article reviews, and editorials in English, French and or Indonesian.
