Peer Review Process
Jurnal Sejarah Indonesia is a scientific journal published so that only scientific manuscripts are accepted in the form of scientific articles that have never been published. The policies in the review process in Jurnal Sejarah Indonesia are as follows:
- The review process involves writers, editors, section editors, and reviewers.
- The review process is carried out using double-blind peer review. The identity of the reviewer and author is hidden from the reviewer and vice versa.
- The editor first checks each submitted article to see if it follows the focus, scope, and guidelines and checks for plagiarism.
- Two reviewers will review the article to ensure the quality of the article from the title, abstract, discussion, and conclusion.
- Articles go through a review process for six weeks with the criteria for evaluating the manuscript as stated in the Article Assessment Form for reviewers.
- The reviewer explains the novelty and contribution of the article to scientific discussion.
- Reviewers provide feedback on whether the article deserves to be accepted, rejected, and needs minor or major revisions.
