Peer Review Statement

Each submission to the MEFT Summit 2026 undergoes an initial screening by the conference editorial team or scientific committee. At this stage, manuscripts are evaluated for alignment with the conference theme and sub-themes, adherence to the official author guidelines and conference template, clarity of academic English, and compliance with originality and plagiarism standards. Manuscripts that fail to meet these basic submission requirements, formatting rules, ethical standards, or conference scope may be returned to the authors or declined prior to the peer review phase.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are advanced to a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the topic. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, academic quality, methodological soundness, relevance to the MEFT Summit theme, clarity of presentation, and overall contribution to the fields of management, economics, finance, and technology.

Upon receiving the reviewers' evaluations, the editor or scientific committee renders a decision based on the comments and recommendations. The potential outcomes include acceptance, acceptance with minor revisions, a request for major revisions, or rejection. Authors requested to revise their manuscripts must address the reviewers’ feedback thoroughly and resubmit the revised version within the timeline specified by the committee.

The peer review process for MEFT Summit 2026 typically takes approximately two to three weeks. For the 2026 conference timeline, the review period is scheduled from 1 to 20 June 2026, with acceptance notifications planned for 21 June 2026.

All official communications regarding manuscript status, review results, revision requests, and final decisions will be transmitted through the official OJS submission system and/or the registered email address of the corresponding author. Authors are strongly advised to monitor their submission accounts and emails regularly. Any suspicious correspondence that does not reference the submitted manuscript or originates from outside the official MEFT Summit 2026 or Universitas Hasanuddin channels should be verified directly with the conference committee.
