PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN KETERAMPILAN MASYARAKAT MENGHADAPI BERITA HOAKS MASA PANDEMI COVID -19

Abstract

Coronavirus (Covid-19) has become a worldwide pandemic. The spread of false news or hoax information is also difficult to contain in the midst of this condition. An individual will be judged to have good literacy about Covid-19 if he is able to behave and act positively regarding the spread of Covid-19 hoaxes. The purpose of carrying out this activity is to increase public knowledge related to matters related to Covid-19, starting from the causes, procedures for preventing the spread and introducing and improving a good and correct literacy culture as an effort to respond to news hoaxes that are widely circulated. The method implemented is Lectures and training of cadres, leaders, and the public on the application of the Covid-19 protocol. Lectures and discussions on techniques for dealing with hoax news and knowing the truth of information. The target audience for this activity is the women of the Posyandu Cadre of Sukahurip and Mulyasari Villages as many as 16 people. Evaluation method To find out whether the program to be implemented has a positive impact or the extent to which this program is implemented, of course, an evaluation is made which includes pre and post-tests, the practice of implementing the 5M protocol. As a result of this activity, the cadres have increased knowledge regarding the application of good and correct health protocols, and how to sort and select reliable information related to Covid-19. --- Corona virus (Covid-19) menjadi pandemi di seluruh dunia. Penyebaran informasi berita bohong atau hoaks juga sulit di bendung di tengah kondisi ini. Seorang individu akan dinilai memiliki literasi yang baik tentang Covid-19,jika mampu bersikap dan bertindak secara positif terkait penyebaran hoaks Covid-19. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait dengan hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan Covid-19, dimulai dari penyebab, tata laksana pencegahan penyebaran dan memperkenalkan serta meningkatkan budaya literasi yang baik dan benar sebagai upaya mensikapi beritahoaks yang beredar luas. Metode yang dilaksanakan adalah Ceramah dan melatih kader, tokoh dan masyarakat tentang penerapan protokol Covid-19 Ceramah dan diskusi tentang teknik menghadapi berita hoaks dan mengetahui kebenaran informasi. Khalayak yang dijadikan sasaran kegiataninia dalah para ibu-ibu Kader Posyandudi Kelurahan Sukahurip dan Mulyasari sebanyak 16 orang. Metode evaluasi Untuk mengetahui apakah program yang akan dilaksanakan ini berdampak positif atau sejauh mana program ini terlaksana,sudah barang tentu dibuat suatu evaluasi yang meliputi dilakukannya pre dan post test, praktek pelaksanaan protocol 5M. Hasil kegiatan ini para kader memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai penerapan protokol kesehatan yang baik dan benar, dan bagaimana cara memilah serta memilih iformasi yang dapat dipercaya terkait dengan Covid-19.
