Implementasi Sistem Budidaya Terintegrasi Lobster, Ikan dan Kerang Mutiara dalam Karamba Jaring Apung di Desa Terapung, Kabupaten Buton Tengah

Desa Terapung, Central Buton Regency, has significant marine resource potential that can be developed through mariculture activities. However, aquaculture groups still face limitations in cultivation technology, commodity diversification, and optimization of production facilities. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge, skills, production facilities, productivity, and income of partners through the implementation of an integrated lobster, fish, and pearl oyster cultivation system in floating net cages. The activity was conducted in partnership with the Waburense Maju Fishermen-Aquaculture Group in Terapung Village as part of the 2025 Kosabangsa Program. The methods applied included counseling, training, technology transfer, and provision of integrated aquaculture production facilities. The implementation focused on cultivation management, including feeding, sanitation, pest control, selective harvesting, and product marketing. Evaluation was conducted by comparing participants’ knowledge and skills before and after the activity using a structured questionnaire. The results showed that prior to the training, participants’ knowledge levels were relatively low, ranging from 40–73% across most indicators. After the training, participants’ knowledge and ability to apply integrated cultivation techniques increased significantly, with achievement levels exceeding 80%. In addition to improving capacity, the program successfully introduced diversification of cultivated commodities and strengthened sustainable marine aquaculture practices. The integrated cultivation system and active participation of partners contributed to increasing the capacity and productivity of aquaculture groups in adapting to local environmental conditions.
Desa Terapung, Kabupaten Buton Tengah, memiliki potensi sumber daya laut yang signifikan yang dapat dikembangkan melalui kegiatan marikultur. Namun, kelompok budidaya masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam teknologi budidaya, diversifikasi komoditas, dan optimalisasi sarana produksi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sarana produksi, produktivitas, dan pendapatan mitra melalui penerapan sistem budidaya terintegrasi lobster, ikan, dan tiram mutiara di keramba jaring apung. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bekerja sama dengan Kelompok Nelayan-Budidaya Waburense Maju di Desa Terapung sebagai bagian dari Program Kosabangsa 2025. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan, alih teknologi, dan penyediaan sarana produksi budidaya terintegrasi. Pelaksanaan difokuskan pada manajemen budidaya, termasuk pemberian pakan, sanitasi, pengendalian hama, panen selektif, dan pemasaran produk. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pelatihan, tingkat pengetahuan peserta relatif rendah, berkisar antara 40–73% pada sebagian besar indikator. Setelah pelatihan, pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam menerapkan teknik budidaya terintegrasi meningkat secara signifikan, dengan tingkat capaian melebihi 80%. Selain meningkatkan kapasitas, program ini berhasil memperkenalkan diversifikasi komoditas budidaya dan memperkuat praktik budidaya laut berkelanjutan. Sistem budidaya terintegrasi dan partisipasi aktif mitra berkontribusi pada peningkatan kapasitas dan produktivitas kelompok budidaya dalam beradaptasi terhadap kondisi lingkungan lokal.
