Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Deteksi Dini Dan Stimulasi Tumbuh Kembang Anak Pada Kader Posyandu Di Desa Abianbase

Early childhood is a crucial period in a child's growth and development, significantly determining the quality of their health, functional abilities, and future readiness. Early detection and growth and development stimulation efforts need to be optimally implemented at the community-based health service level, one of which is through the Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu). Posyandu cadres play a strategic role in monitoring child growth and development, but limited knowledge and skills often hinder their implementation. This community service program aims to increase the capacity of Posyandu cadres in Abianbase Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, to understand the stages of child growth and development, conduct early development detection, and provide appropriate growth and development stimulation. The activity was carried out on August 14, 2024, involving 35 Posyandu cadres from seven hamlets. The implementation method included educational outreach, practice-based training, demonstrations, and mentoring, with evaluation using pre-post tests and skills assessment sheets. The results of the activity showed an increase in cadres' understanding of child growth and development stages from 36.67% to 79.17%. In addition, 85% of cadres were able to independently perform early developmental detection using the Pre-Screening Development Questionnaire (KPSP), and 80% were able to apply infant massage techniques as a form of growth and development stimulation. This program has proven effective in comprehensively improving the knowledge and skills of Posyandu cadres. Strengthening cadre capacity through structured and ongoing training is needed to support optimal monitoring and stimulation of child growth and development at the village level.
Masa usia dini merupakan periode krusial dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak yang sangat menentukan kualitas kesehatan, kemampuan fungsional, dan kesiapan anak di masa mendatang. Upaya deteksi dini dan stimulasi tumbuh kembang perlu dilakukan secara optimal sejak tingkat pelayanan kesehatan berbasis masyarakat, salah satunya melalui Posyandu. Kader Posyandu memiliki peran strategis sebagai pelaksana pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak, namun keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sering menjadi kendala dalam pelaksanaannya. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader Posyandu Desa Abianbase, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung, dalam memahami tahapan tumbuh kembang anak, melakukan deteksi dini perkembangan, serta memberikan stimulasi tumbuh kembang secara tepat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 14 Agustus 2024 dengan melibatkan 35 kader Posyandu dari tujuh banjar. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi edukatif, pelatihan berbasis praktik, demonstrasi, dan pendampingan, dengan evaluasi menggunakan pre-post test dan lembar penilaian keterampilan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman kader tentang tahapan tumbuh kembang anak dari 36,67% menjadi 79,17%. Selain itu, 85% kader mampu melakukan deteksi dini perkembangan menggunakan Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan (KPSP) secara mandiri, dan 80% kader mampu mengaplikasikan teknik pijat bayi sebagai bentuk stimulasi tumbuh kembang. Program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader Posyandu secara komprehensif. Penguatan kapasitas kader melalui pelatihan terstruktur dan berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk mendukung optimalisasi pemantauan dan stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak di tingkat desa.
