Strategic Policy and Diplomacy Review (SPDR) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research on strategic affairs, public policy, diplomacy, and international relations. The journal serves as an interdisciplinary platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, diplomats, policymakers, and postgraduate students to engage in critical discussions on contemporary global, regional, and national challenges.
SPDR publishes original research articles, policy analyses, review essays, and scholarly commentaries that contribute to the understanding of how states, international organizations, non-state actors, and transnational networks formulate and implement strategies to address complex political, economic, security, technological, and societal issues.
The journal welcomes contributions from diverse theoretical, methodological, and disciplinary perspectives, particularly those that bridge academic inquiry with practical policy implications.
SPDR is published twice a year, in June and December, by Hasanuddin University. All submitted articles shall never be published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles submitted to SPDR will undergo a thorough double-blind peer-review process. The Editorial Board decides on the acceptance of articles based on the reviewers' recommendations.
