Author Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted for publication in the Hasanuddin Journal of Constitutional Law must comply with all requirements set forth in the [AUTHOR GUIDELINES – Author Guidelines] and must be prepared using the [OFFICIAL JOURNAL TEMPLATE – Template Jurnal ] provided by the Journal.

Compliance with the Author Guidelines and the use of the Official Journal Template are mandatory requirements for manuscript submission and remain the full responsibility of the author(s). The Author Guidelines set out the requirements concerning the scope of the article, manuscript structure and organization, formatting, submission procedures, citation and referencing style, and other editorial requirements. Meanwhile, the Official Journal Template must be used as the prescribed format for preparing the manuscript to ensure consistency and technical conformity among all submitted manuscripts.

Manuscripts that do not comply with the Author Guidelines and/or are not prepared using the Official Journal Template may be returned to the author(s) for correction and adjustment before proceeding to the editorial and peer-review processes. Therefore, author(s) are required to carefully read and understand the Author Guidelines and ensure that their manuscripts have been prepared using the Official Journal Template prior to submission to the Hasanuddin Journal of Constitutional Law.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
