Hasanuddin Journal of Animal Science (HAJAS) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal published twice yearly by the Faculty of Animal Science, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. HAJAS focuses on advancing knowledge and innovation in tropical farm animal science, linking global research with challenges and opportunities in tropical livestock production systems.
The journal publishes original research and reviews across a wide range of disciplines including breeding and genetics, reproduction, nutrition, feed science, biotechnology, animal welfare, and livestock management, as well as socio-economic and policy aspects. Through rigorous peer review, open access, and a strong regional perspective, HAJAS aims to promote sustainable and climate-resilient animal production relevant to tropical regions worldwide.
We have created a new Hajas template, with the hope that this template will look better, and follow the trend of today's journals, which also makes it easier for authors to write and check the references they cite.
