The Indonesian Journal of Health Administration and Policy (JAKKI) was founded in 2012 and was first published in print. During its early years, JAKKI served as a forum for the publication of scientific research and studies in the field of health administration and policy.

Due to the dynamics of journal management, JAKKI experienced a period of inactivity. In 2026, JAKKI was republished in a new version and managed in a more structured manner, utilizing online media as a form of adaptation to technological developments and the digital era.

Currently, JAKKI is published periodically three times a year. Each edition contains five scientific articles that have undergone a peer review process in accordance with scientific publication standards.
