Perancangan Lanskap Science Techno Park sebagai Kawasan Pendidikan dan Eduwisata Berbasis Pertanian

Abstract

ABSTRAK:

Kawasan laboratorium dan kebun percobaan untuk pendidikan tinggi di bidang pertanian sebaiknya terintegrasi. Hal ini guna mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Selain  itu, kawasan tersebut juga dapat menjadi sarana eduwisata di bidang pertanian. Namun, permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu laboratorium dan kebun percobaan pada Fakultas Pertanian Dan Bisnis UKSW belum terintegrasi. Sehingga diperlukan konsep perencanaan dan perancangan yang dapat mengintegrasikan laboratorium dan kebun percobaan menjadi satu kawasan bersama dalam upaya pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang kawasan Science Techno Park (STP) sebagai pusat pendidikan dan eduwisata di bidang pertanian. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif diperoleh dengan cara analisis deskriptif serta studi literatur.  Hasil persepsi dan preferensi diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap dosen dan laboran. Melalui persepsi, narasumber menginginkan laboratorium dan kebun percobaan yang terintegrasi agar kebutuhan kapasitas ruangan terpenuhi dan mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran dan penelitian. Sedangkan preferensi mendeskripsikan tentang harapan narasumber terkait penyediaan fasilitas fisik laboratorium, kebun percobaan dan kawasan eduwisata pada sebuah kawasan pertanian yang terintegrasi. Konsep pengembangan yaitu konsep zona ruang, ruang hijau, sirkulasi, dan konsep fasilitas dan utilitas. Perancangan ini menghasilkan master plan dan desain 3D terkait kawasan STP FPB UKSW. Perancangan Science Techno Park Fakultas Pertanian dan Bisnis bertujuan untuk menciptakan kawasan terintegrasi yang mendukung praktikum, penelitian, dan eduwisata melalui pembagian zona aktivitas yang sesuai.

ABSTRACT:

Laboratory areas and experimental farms for higher education in agriculture should be integrated. This is to facilitate the learning process. In addition, the area can also be a means of edu-tourism in agriculture. However, the problem faced is that the laboratories and experimental gardens at the Faculty of Agriculture and Business of WSSW have not been integrated. So that a planning and design concept is needed that can integrate laboratories and experimental gardens into one common area in an effort to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This research aims to design the Science Techno Park (STP) area as an education and education center in agriculture. This research method is a qualitative and quantitative method obtained by descriptive analysis and literature study.  The results of perceptions and preferences were obtained through interviews with lecturers and laboratory assistants. Through perceptions, the interviewees wanted an integrated laboratory and experimental garden to meet the needs of room capacity and optimize the learning and research process. While preferences describe the expectations of the speakers regarding the provision of physical facilities for laboratories, experimental gardens and eco-tourism areas in an integrated agricultural area. The development concept is the concept of space zone, green space, circulation, and the concept of facilities and utilities. This design produces a master plan and 3D design related to the STP FPB UKSW area. The design of Science Techno Park Faculty of Agriculture and Business aims to create an integrated area that supports practicum, research, and education through the division of appropriate activity zones.
