Author Guidelines

GENERAL

Submissions must be written in English and should be made electronically through this website. Once a submission has been completed, the submitting author is able to fully track the status of the paper and complete requested revisions via their online profile. Please ensure that you consider the following guidelines when preparing your manuscript. Failure to do so may delay the processing of your submission.

Note that word limits are meant as guidelines and some flexibility is permitted. All word limits include referencing and citation.

ARTICLE TYPES

Psychoverum publishes articles in two formats: Original Research Articles and Review Articles. We require authors to select the appropriate article type for their manuscript and to comply with the article format defined below.

Original Research articles provide reports on primary and unpublished studies. These articles include both confirming studies that support hypotheses and disconfirming results that allow for hypothesis elimination or reformulation. They may also report on the non-reproducibility of previously published results. To see the template for the format of original research articles, please refer to this template.

Review articles provide review on topics that have experienced significant development or progress in recent years. It should offer a comprehensive and in-depth analysis with a balanced perspective. The type of review may include meta-analyses, literature reviews, or scoping reviews. They may uncover groundbreaking theoretical concepts or serve as a contemporary introduction to a topic for readers who are interested in gaining an understanding of the subject. ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE
