Abstract

The educational game tool for introduction to literacy is one of the absolute things that teachers must perform in an early-age education to support children's need for literacy and create an interesting and meaningful environmental learning situation. The purpose of this dedicated activity is to train and accompany the kindergarten teacher to create an ingenious educational game tool for introducing literacy. The methods and forms of activities are training and mentoring, with the speech, discussion, question-and-answer, assignment, and simulation of 2 (two) stages, which: training is led to give knowledge to teachers of the basic concepts of ape introduction, and of creativity, and independent chaperones to create an ingenious educational game tool. This activity is followed by 15 (fifteen) kindergarten teachers in the Musi Rawas Utara Regency. The results of the dedication activity indicate that kindergarten teachers as trainees already had a good knowledge of the production of educational game tools. Pretest and posttest comparisons have shown a significant improvement in the way that devotions have been able to make ingenious educational game tools to introduce the various basic types of literacy that children need.  ---  Alat permainan edukatif pengenalan literasi merupakan salah satu hal mutlak yang harus diadakan oleh guru dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini guna menunjang kebutuhan anak akan pemahaman literasi serta menciptakan situasi lingkungan pembelajaran yang menarik  dan bermakna. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melatih dan mendampingi guru TK untuk membuat alat permainan edukatif yang kreatif dalam mengenalankan literasi. Metode dan bentuk kegiatan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan, dengan teknik ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, penugasan, dan simulasi yang terdiri dari 2 (dua) tahapan, yaitu: pelatihan terbimbing untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada para guru tentang konsep dasar alat permainan edukatif, hakikat pengenalan literasi, dan hakikat kreativitas, serta pendampingan mandiri untuk membuat alat permainan edukatif yang kreatif dalam mengenalankan literasi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 15 (lima belas) orang guru TK di Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru TK sebagai peserta pelatihan sudah memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang pembuatan alat permainan edukatif. Perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, yakni guru-guru peserta pengabdian sudah mampu membuat alat permainan edukatif yang kreatif dalam mengenalankan berbagai macam jenis literasi dasar yang dibutuhkan oleh anak.
