Publication Ethics

      This statement of the scientific code of ethics is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of this bioma journal, namely managers, editors, peer reviewers, and authors. The statement of the code of ethics for scientific publications is based on the head of LIPI's regulation no. 5 , 2014 , concerning the code of ethics for scientific publications, which in essence is the code of ethics for scientific publications, namely upholding 3 ethical values ​​in publications, namely 1) neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications, 2) justice, namely giving authorship rights to those who are entitled as authors/ the author and 3) honesty, namely free from duplication, fabrication and plagiarism in publications.

A. Duties and responsibilities of journal managers

Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation if needed
Determine the membership of the editorial board
Defines the relationship between publishers, editors, review partners and other parties in one contract
Appreciate things that are confidential, both for contributing researchers, authors/writers, editors and bestari partners
Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
Reviewing journal policies and submitting them to the authors/authors, the editorial board, reviewers and readers
Create behavioral code guides for editors and bestari partners
Publish journals regularly
Ensuring the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publishing
Building a network of cooperation and marketing
Preparing permits and other legal aspects 

B. Duties and responsibilities of the editor

Meeting the needs of readers and authors/writers
Strive to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis
Implement processes to ensure the quality of published papers

C. Duties and responsibilities of bestari partners

Received an assignment from the editor to review the written work and submit the results of the review to the editor
The reviewer may not conduct a review of the written work that involves himself, either directly or indirectly

D. Duties and responsibilities of the author/writer
Ensure that those who are included in the list of authors / authors meet the criteria as authors / authors.
Collectively responsible for the work and content of articles including methods, analysis, calculations and details
State the origin of resources (including funding) either directly or indirectly

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

• Article Submission: FREE of CHARGE
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

• Article Publication: IDR 250.000 
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs.
