Principles of Transparency

Jurnal Riset Veteriner Indonesia adheres to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, as recommended by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA, and WAME. These principles ensure openness, integrity, and ethical accountability throughout the publication process.

1. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are subject to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewer reports and editorial assessment.

2. Governing Body

The journal is managed by an Editorial Board comprised of experienced scholars and professionals in veterinary medicine and related disciplines. Full details of the editorial board members, including affiliations and qualifications, are publicly available on the journal’s website.

3. Editorial Team and Contact Information

Contact information for the editorial office, including institutional address and official email, is clearly listed on the journal's website. All correspondence is handled promptly and professionally.

4. Author Fees

Jurnal Riset Veteriner Indonesia operates under a partially funded open-access model. Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) only upon acceptance of their manuscript. The APC is:

  • USD 100.00 (for international authors)

  • IDR 250,000 (for Indonesian authors)

There are no submission fees or additional charges beyond the APC for accepted articles.

5. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain full copyright of their work. All published articles are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly cited.

6. Archiving

The journal ensures digital preservation of all published content through institutional repositories and archiving platforms. All articles remain permanently accessible even if the journal is no longer published.

7. Ownership and Management

Jurnal Riset Veteriner Indonesia is owned and published by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Hasanuddin, Indonesia. The institution is responsible for the editorial and operational management of the journal.

8. Website

The journal’s website offers user-friendly navigation, clear policy statements, and access to all content and submission resources. The site is regularly updated to maintain transparency and accessibility.

9. Publishing Schedule

The journal publishes two issues per year, in January and July, following a consistent and timely publication schedule.

10. Access

All content is freely accessible to the public. Jurnal Riset Veteriner Indonesia is committed to the open-access model, supporting the free exchange of knowledge without financial, legal, or technical barriers.

11. Ethical Oversight

The journal has established ethical guidelines in line with international standards. Allegations of misconduct or unethical behavior are investigated thoroughly, with appropriate actions taken as necessary, including corrections or retractions when warranted.
