Maritime Park: Journal of Maritime Technology and Society is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal dedicated to advancing research and innovation in maritime technology, ocean engineering, maritime operations, sustainability, and their interaction with society.
The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, engineers, maritime professionals, industry practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original research, technological developments, and interdisciplinary studies addressing contemporary and emerging challenges in the maritime sector.
Maritime Park particularly welcomes studies that demonstrate scientific rigor, methodological clarity, originality, and relevance to the international maritime community. The journal encourages research connecting engineering and technology with operational, environmental, economic, managerial, and societal dimensions of maritime development.
Maritime Park is published by the Department of Ocean Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia and is published three times a year in February, June, and October.

Maritime Park: Journal of Maritime Technology and Society publishes original research and scholarly contributions addressing engineering, technological, operational, environmental, and societal developments in the maritime sector.

Offshore and ship engineering, marine structures, hydrodynamics, subsea systems, coastal engineering, marine materials, and ocean engineering applications. - Shipping, Ports and Maritime Logistics
Maritime transportation, shipping operations, port engineering and management, maritime logistics, vessel traffic, route optimization, and smart port systems. - Sustainable Maritime Technologies
Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, digital twins, automation, marine monitoring, maritime data analytics, marine renewable energy, environmental technologies, and sustainable maritime systems. - Maritime Safety, Governance and Society
Maritime safety and risk, human factors, maritime governance and policy, maritime economics, industry management, coastal communities, blue economy, and societal impacts of maritime technology.
Interdisciplinary studies are particularly encouraged when they integrate engineering and technology with operational, environmental, economic, managerial, or societal dimensions of the maritime sector.
Local and regional case studies are welcome when they provide transferable methods, technological innovations, comparative findings, theoretical contributions, or broader implications relevant to the international maritime community.
