Maritime Park: Journal of Maritime Technology and Society invites researchers, academics, engineers, practitioners, and professionals to submit original and high-quality manuscripts for consideration in Volume 6, Issue1, February 2027.

Maritime Park is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal covering research and developments in:

  • Ocean Engineering
  • Shipping, Ports and Maritime Logistics
  • Sustainable Maritime Technologies
  • Maritime Safety, Governance and Society

The journal particularly welcomes manuscripts that demonstrate clear scientific or technological contributions, rigorous methodology, engagement with current international literature, and relevance to the wider maritime community.

Original research articles, review articles, and technical or engineering studies are welcome. Interdisciplinary studies integrating maritime engineering and technology with operational, environmental, economic, managerial, or societal dimensions are particularly encouraged.

Invitation for Seminar Collaboration and Special Issue Publication

Maritime Park: Journal of Maritime Technology and Society invites universities, research institutions, professional associations, government agencies, maritime organizations, and other academic or professional institutions to collaborate in organizing seminars, conferences, workshops, and scientific forums related to maritime technology and society.

Through this collaboration, selected high-quality papers presented at partner events may be considered for publication in a Special Issue or Thematic Issue of Maritime Park, subject to the journal's editorial screening, scope requirements, publication ethics, and independent peer-review process.

Forms of Collaboration
  • Co-hosting or supporting academic seminars and conferences;
  • Publication of selected seminar papers in a Special Issue or Thematic Issue;
  • Development of thematic topics relevant to maritime technology, ocean engineering, shipping, ports, logistics, sustainability, safety, governance, and maritime society;
  • Joint dissemination of calls for papers;
  • Participation of qualified academics and professionals as guest editors, reviewers, speakers, or scientific committee members; and
  • Strengthening academic and institutional networks at national and international levels.
