Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

Author Guidelines

A. Manuscript General Requirement 
  1. Written in English or Bahasa 
  2. The length of the manuscript is 4.000-8000 worlds (not included references) 
  3. Prepared your manuscript using ETNOSIA: Jurnal Etnografi Indonesia
  4. The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  5. The manuscript file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format (don't use another format).
B. Structure of the Manuscript
  1. TITLE. The title of the paper is maxed 14 words (English) or 15 words (Bahasa), without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. AUTHOR INFORMATION. Author information is Author(s) Name, Author(s) Affiliation, Author(s) email. 
  3. ABSTRACT. The length of the Abstract is 150-250; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, methodology, main outcomes, and results, and the conclusions.
  4. SECTION STRUCTURE. Authors are suggested to present their manuscript in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion
  5. REFERENCES. Expect a minimum of 15 references primarily with a minimum of 80% to journal papers. Use APA 6th style for your references  

C. Manuscript Preparation Checklist

  3. Ensuring the paper conforms to the standard of Jurnal Etnosia Template, Please download the paper template in *.DOC
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
  5. The length of the submitted paper is 4000-8000 words, not included references.
  6. It used a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and have chosen the APA 6th style.
