Implementasi Kebijakan oleh TPID Kabupaten Bone Pada Tahun 2023-2024

Abstract

This research examines the policy effectiveness of the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) of Bone Regency in maintaining the price stability of basic commodities as a manifestation of the deconcentration function, which successfully led the region to achieve consecutive national-level awards in 2023 and 2024. Through a descriptive qualitative approach grounded in the analytical framework of the four pillars of inflation control—comprising price affordability, supply availability, smooth distribution, and effective communication—as well as the Van Meter and Van Horn policy implementation model, this study dissects the local government's comprehensive strategies in responding to seasonal inflation pressures and supply shocks. The research findings indicate that local economic stability was successfully realized through a series of strategic and concrete interventions, including the implementation of the Low-Cost Food Movement (Gerakan Pangan Murah) to suppress price volatility, the strengthening of local production through the Horticulture Village (Kampung Hortikultura) program, the provision of logistics distribution subsidies, and the application of digital and community-based public communication strategies. The successful integration of all these programs was strongly supported by the establishment of clear policy standards, the optimization of resources mobilized synergistically across Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), a collaborative institutional structure, and the operation of a functional interagency communication system. Overall, the performance achievements of the Bone Regency TPID represent the successful implementation of deconcentration-based governance, wherein national macroeconomic policies were effectively translated into localized food security programs through adaptive, coordinative, and responsive strategies.
