Abstract
Latar Belakang: Stres kerja merupakan tekanan psikologis tenaga kerja berupa ketegangan, kecemasan, dan kelelahan emosional akibat dari pekerjaannya sehingga memengaruhi emosi, proses kognitif, dan kondisi mentalnya. Riskesdas tahun 2018 mengemukakan persentase terbesar penderita stres pada pegawai swasta sebesar 4,8% dan juga pada PNS dengan jumlah 2,4%. Tujuan: Mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian stres kerja pada pegawai di Rektorat Universitas Hasanuddin. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan metode cross sectional study. Penelitian dilakukan di Rektorat Universitas Hasanuddin pada bulan Januari-Februari 2024. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 490 pegawai dengan sampel 87 pegawai. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah proportional stratified random sampling. Adapun analisis data univariat dan bivariat dengan pendekatan uji chi-square dengan menilai p-value. Hasil: Responden yang mengalami stres kategori rendah sebanyak 71,3%, dan stres kategori tinggi sebanyak 28,7%. Stres kerja memiliki hubungan dengan beban kerja, dukungan sosial, dan tuntutan mental, sedangkan umur dan masa kerja tidak memiliki hubungan dengan kejadian stres kerja. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara beban kerja, dukungan sosial, tuntutan mental dan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara umur dan masa kerja terhadap kejadian stres kerja pada pegawai di Rektorat Universitas Hasanuddin. Diharapkan kepada jajaran pimpinan rektorat untuk mampu memberikan proporsional uraian jenis kerja pegawai dengan jumlah pegawai sesuai di bidangnya dan bagi pegawai diharapkan mampu mengenali gejala atau tanda-tanda stres sedini mungkin sehingga mampu menerapkan manajemen stres.
