Articles in press are accepted, peer reviewed articles that are not yet assigned to volumes/issues, but are citable using DOI.

Articles in press are manuscripts that have been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication in Maritime Park: Journal of Maritime Technology and Society. These articles are made available online to provide early access to current research findings prior to their assignment in a specific issue. Once the article is formally published in a regular volume or issue, the “in-press” version will be replaced by the final version while retaining its original online publication date.

Readers may cite these articles by using the author name(s), article title, the journal name, year of online publication, and DOI. Please follow the journal’s reference format for the correct citation style, including abbreviation and punctuation of journal titles.

There are three categories of Articles in Press:

  1. Journal Pre-Proofs — Accepted manuscripts that have been formatted and contain essential metadata for early viewing. These versions are not yet the final record and may undergo further typesetting and editing.

  2. Uncorrected Proofs — Articles that have been edited and formatted but are awaiting final author review. Text and figures may still be revised before publication.

  3. Corrected Proofs — Articles incorporating the author’s final corrections, pending final citation details such as volume, issue, year, and page numbers.

During the production process, some modifications may still occur. All legal disclaimers applicable to Maritime Park: Journal of Maritime Technology and Society remain valid for all versions of articles in press.
