Aims and Scope

The Journal of Integrated Economic and Community Partnerships (JIECoP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes community-engagement scholarship with clear social and economic relevance. The journal disseminates evidence-based programs, applied studies, practice-informed conceptual perspectives, and innovative practices arising from community engagement activities, service-learning, and participatory action research.

The journal aims to bridge academic knowledge and community priorities by strengthening the economic and institutional capacity of communities, with particular attention to rural, peri-urban, and regional settings where development needs are most pressing and documented evidence is often scarce. JIECoP welcomes manuscripts that, where relevant, demonstrate collaboration within the Quadruple Helix model (government, academia, industry, and community) to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly inclusive economic growth and social welfare.
