About the Journal
The Journal of Integrated Economic and Community Partnerships (JIECoP) is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal dedicated to the dissemination of articles resulting from community engagement activities, service-learning, and participatory action research.
This journal aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application by focusing on economic empowerment and strategic partnerships. JIECoP encourages manuscripts that demonstrate the implementation of the Quadruple Helix model (Government, Academics, Industry, and Community) to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in fostering economic growth and social welfare.
Scope of the Journal JIECoP welcomes submissions that address the following areas, though not limited to:
- MSME Empowerment & Competitiveness: Strategies for micro, small, and medium enterprises, digital marketing adoption, product innovation, and business scaling.
- Rural Economic Development: Management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), optimization of village funds, and rural economic diversification.
- Social Entrepreneurship & Creative Economy: Initiatives that combine business principles with social impact, development of creative industries, and heritage-based economy.
- Financial Literacy & Inclusion: Community training on financial management, accounting for non-accountants, fintech adoption, and household economic resilience.
- Sustainable Tourism & Hospitality: Community-based tourism (CBT) management, eco-tourism development, and hospitality service improvement.
- CSR & Industrial Partnerships: Corporate Social Responsibility programs that focus on community economic independence and vocational capacity building.
