Plagiarism Policy
Journal of Integrated Economic and Community Partnerships (JIECoP) strictly prohibits plagiarism and self-plagiarism. The journal adheres to the following principles:
-
Originality: The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works. If the authors have used the work and/or words of others, this must be appropriately cited or quoted.
-
Duplicate Submission: An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research or community service project in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
-
Acknowledgment: Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
Screening Process
To ensure the integrity of published articles, JIECoP implements a rigorous screening process:
-
Manual Check: The Editorial Team checks the manuscript against offline and online databases manually to ensure proper citation and quotation practices are followed.
-
Software Check: The Editorial Team checks the manuscript using Turnitin. If an indication of plagiarism is found (similarity index of more than 20%), the board will reject the manuscript immediately.
