Journal of Integrated Economic and Community Partnerships (JIECoP) is a scientific, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes community-engagement scholarship with clear social and economic relevance. The journal welcomes evidence-based programs, applied studies, conceptual perspectives, and innovative practices that connect academic knowledge with community priorities, with particular attention to rural, peri-urban, and regional communities where development needs are most pressing and documented evidence is often scarce.
JIECoP focuses on economic empowerment, business and entrepreneurship development, social sustainability, community partnerships, institutional and human-capacity development, technology adoption, and other interdisciplinary approaches that produce relevant and measurable benefits for communities. The journal particularly values contributions that strengthen village institutions, local enterprises, and regional economies, and that draw on local knowledge and potential as a foundation for inclusive and sustainable development.
All submissions undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that meet the journal’s scope and basic requirements are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process by at least two reviewers. Accepted articles proceed through revision, copyediting, production, author proofing, and final editorial approval before publication.
Submissions are accepted throughout the year. Publication in a particular issue is not guaranteed by the submission date. Only manuscripts that complete the full editorial process and receive final acceptance are scheduled. If an issue reaches its capacity of five articles, additional accepted manuscripts are assigned to the next available issue.
