Article Charges

This journal is committed to providing Open Access to the public and academic community to support the global exchange of knowledge in nutrition and public health. To maintain editorial quality, the peer-review process, and indexing services, the journal applies the following fee structure:

  1. Article Submission Fee: IDR 0 (Free) Authors are not charged any fee when submitting a manuscript to the OJS system.

  2. Article Publication Charge (APC): IDR 500,000 ( / USD 35 ) (Note: Please adjust this amount according to the official editorial policy) This publication fee is only payable if the article has been declared ACCEPTED for publication by the editorial team. Rejected articles are not subject to any charges.

Scope of Publication Fees The APC paid by authors covers all of the following publishing services:

  • Standard Peer-Review Process: Administrative management and manuscript evaluation by peer reviewers who are experts in the field of community nutrition.

  • Editorial & Production: Copyediting, layout formatting, and the production of scholarly publication-standard PDF and HTML formats.

  • DOI Registration: Activation of an official Digital Object Identifier (DOI) from Crossref for each article.

  • Open Access & Archiving: Unrestricted public access (Open Access) as well as article archiving and indexing in national and international repositories (SINTA, Google Scholar, Garuda, and others).

Waiver Policy Jurnal Gizi Masyarakat Indonesia supports equitable scientific dissemination without financial barriers. Authors who lack research funding or experience financial hardship may submit a waiver request to the Editor-in-Chief accompanied by a valid justification before the manuscript enters the peer-review stage.
