Plagiarism Check

Jurnal Gizi Masyarakat Indonesia (The Journal of Indonesian Community Nutrition) maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism and self-plagiarism. All authors must adhere to ethical publishing standards by observing the following guidelines:

1. Originality of Work

   Authors must ensure that they have submitted entirely original works. If authors have used the work, data, concepts, or words of others, these must be appropriately quoted and cited.

2. Proper Attribution

   Authors should cite all publications and sources that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported research.

3. Prohibition of Duplicate and Concurrent Submission

   Authors should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is strictly unacceptable.

Plagiarism Screening and Threshold (Maximum 25%)

• Manual and Automated Verification: The Editorial Team manually inspects submitted manuscripts against offline and online databases to verify proper citation and quotation practices.

• Turnitin Screening: To ensure article authenticity, all manuscripts undergo originality checking using the anti-plagiarism software Turnitin prior to the peer-review process.

• Acceptable Similarity Limit: The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%.

  • Manuscripts with a similarity index of 25% or below will proceed to the peer-review stage.

  • Manuscripts exceeding the 25% threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or immediately rejected, depending on the severity of the duplicated content.
