BIOMA : Jurnal Biologi Makassar is a scientific journal that publishes the results of original research and studies of biological literature. Focus and scope of bioma in the fields of pure biology and applied biology of agricultural complexes, medical complexes and the environment.This journal is published by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University. Bioma has been accredited by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Bioma publishes manuscripts in the period January - June and July - December every year.

BIOMA: Biology Journal of Makassar invites those who have research papers, library studies and survey work that illustrate significant advances in both pure and applied biology.

BIOMA publishes manuscripts every six months with the period January-June and July-December every year and can be accessed openly online. Publication of manuscripts was selected through double peer review to ensure originality, relevance and readability.

BIOMA welcomes submissions of manuscripts that meet common criteria of scientific significance and excellence.  For this purpose we would like to ask you to contribute your best papers in the field of biology
